watching this episode right now! he looks black to me... fair-skinned or mixed, but those features are very ethnic. *He* may not want to claim it, but that's irrelevant. If he were a few shades darker it would be more obvious but whatev... btw his name is Samuel Bliss Cooper - IMDB claims Russian decent, but then again Pushkin was Russian too... so...
