The partners push each other with the fist, back and forth, making sure that each push is done from a distance and body position that feels most comfortable (to the one pushing), with no rush and no unnecessary tension.
This drill is useful for the practitioner to develop the correct feeling for distance when punching, so as not to try and reach with the hands when outside striking distance.
