Hello everyone. I'm here with another YouTube gospel video. 1995 was a great year for many gospel artists, but I can honestly say that 1995 was the year of John Prince Kee, the Prince of Gospel. The pastor of the New Life Fellowship Center in Charlotte, North Carolina and the New Life Community Choir came out with the album that has sold more albums, went Platinum, and is still song and remembered by everyone in the gospel community. This song has practically recreated gospel into a new standard, and has since, elevated everyone's expectations on how gospel music should be sung. That song and album is "Show Up" Everyone can remember hearing this song and singing it in their church choir and to this day, this is Kee's most recognized and remembered song. This was completely new because at the time, Kee was considered a traditional artist, focusing on that Southern gospel style. When Show Up came out, he blew his critics out of the water and proved that he is versatile and that he truly is the Prince of Gospel.
