The End Song from the Series "How I Met Your Mother". Season 6 - Episode 18 - Original air date February 28, 2011

Song is by Barbarossa from their Album "Sea Like Blood"

Lyrics (Thanks to AldurinIronfist):

Stones that I carry around
Every stone a story that weighed me down
But there is gold hidden by rock and sand
I have to search a little harder now

Sharp as a marble
These stones keep my feet on the ground
All this experience weighs me down

But there is gold Hidden by rock and sand
I have to search a little harder now
But there is gold hidden by rock and sand
I have to search a little harder now

----- I do not own anything!

Enjoy!

  • Oh Barney, why can't you confront your feelings? :/

  • Six seasons in and, perhaps, one of the best "Barney" episodes so far.

  • A helluva character, Barney Stinson... the show wouldn't be much without his comedic value and borderline sociopathic behavior. true story

  • it seems barney's memories of this moment made him dislike this video

  • @JacobSliv

Maybe you like it. I don´t. Sounds like indefinable random radio noises. There is no voicemail in the non-piano version and i´m looking for a piano version also without the voices. That´s all.

  • @derbunkerkoenig The "voices" is him checking his voice-mail. There is one message left at 3:50 am by a woman. Can't make out what she says, but I'd be willing to bet his experience with her inspired the song. The voices don't ruin the song, they amplify its emotion.

  • They better play this on his wedding episode

  • sometimes you look at a picture ear a song and recall some moments and you start thinking what kind of person you are, the people you driven away, the people you've hurt, the stupid things you say, the stupid things you've done.

  • @Shiriniroyale Don't you dare put the words "Jersey Shore" and such a song in the same sentence again idiot..

  • The simple fact that someone suggested this as a jersey shore closing song show how retarded this generation really is ._.

  • one of the best episodes ever all this exprience ways me down..... did barry marry robin

  • is there a piano version without those background voices?...they ruin the song :(
