McGaw YMCA: Breakfast With Bill September 2011 [Part 2]

On September 14, 2011, a record number of guests joined our President / CEO Bill Geiger in the Chinnock Lounge for his latest Breakfast With Bill session. After light breakfast fare, Bill discussed Pioneering Healthier Communities, an initiative to work with community leaders so that healthy living is within reach for individuals of all ages and backgrounds.

A team of leaders from the Evanston community has been assembled to consider what it is that Evanston needs to improve the health of its children. As the initiating collaborator, the McGaw YMCA has been awarded a grant to help our community make policy and environmental changes that will reduce childhood obesity.
