I have the OVA on VHS...I'm old. I never knew there was a TV series. It looks great.

@HeartPearlVoice Lol yeah Spark was lame. But then, at least in the TV Series, Parn could just be epically awesome and never look lame, Spark takes over being the lame powerless fool holding the girl at the end instead of parn having to hold Deed y'know?

@Phandiw totally agree...tho fun fact - from what I understand..the TV series follows more closely to the original replays/manga...the original OVA actually has the adjusted history where the Spark generation is is totally cut and worked into the Parn story, which I also found much better :)

Maybe its just me, but this anime would have been MUCH better if it had just been about Parn and his group. The whole things with Sparky(or what ever) didn `t interest me at all.
The opening is one of the best, I think.
