  • Thank you very much for posting this.

  • I'll tell you why religion is less than stellar. It is the ultimate abusive authoritarian parent, chastizing ppl and making them feel bad about themselves. building low self-esteem based on scrutiny and inherent inferiority. If I were christian I would be VERY depressed and suicidal. but at least I would be 'perfect' :P

  • @adelaideguy100 well said

  • Was missing Hitch. This video made me smile!

  • Wow.

  • Well-presented argument. Another thing one can mention is that theists go around trying to get people to convert, to see reason, to be "saved." The late Mr. Hitchens did much the same thing, only he tried to get the world to put aside some of its most fundamental differences for the sake of mutual prosperity. And yet people think he is evil.

  • R.I.P. Mr. Hitchens....

  • I wish there were more people like Hitchens. Religion is never static. Religions come and go. Nobody has the answers and nobody should pretend they do. Who knows why we're actually here. Religion has its benefits (comforting, bringing together a community, helps to establish rules for the community to follow) but also its negatives like war/conflict and people not accepting others of different religions. We should always question things. Even long held beliefs instilled in us since childhood.

  • @knowjesus2011 Please limit yourself to one response, you just look like a crazy person that you are. I regret even starting a conversation with you. Yeah Islam is so great, we should aspire to be more like Islamic countries, is that what you believe? Do you live in an Islamic country? If not, prove all of us wrong and move to one.

  • @MrKGatl, Believe me religion is like any other subjects. It require a lot of study & reasoning. These people may be expert 1 area does not mean they good at all area. If they really study all the faith on the planet without being biased, I can assure u these people will if not accept Islam as faith their faith, they will at least respect Islam. They r just being arrogant and ignorant. U can not help these type of people. Islam is most misunderstanding faith but still fastest growing.

  • @MrKGatl 3) Just like you working USA government and then giving out secret information to its enemy or spreading negative message against USA government. What do you think the USA government will do to you? They will catch your ass, bring you to the court, put you in jail for life or hang to death. Islam is a serious religion not a joke. Watch these two video of Dr. Zakir Naik on apostasy on youtube and learn. Peace

  • @MrKGatl 2) You asked a simple question. You asked what the penalty for leaving Islam. It is a very common question asked by many. If a Muslim leave Islam and go to any faith there is no penalty in Islam as Quran says there is no compulsion in. However in an Islamic country where country run by Islamic laws, if one come to Islam and then leave Islam and talk craps against Islam, create hate mongers against Islam the penalty is death.
