Truly inspirational ! WOW... I have checked out several of your videos and am quite impressed. I've decided to get myself a 8' nylon snake whip. Quite a hobby. I noticed most whip guys wear a hat, I suppose that gives some protection to the head. Checking around I noticed some careless noobs causing some nasty welts to themselves too. Thanks for the lessons in excellent whip form. Aloha... MB

The vast majority of professional whipcrackers who do intricate two handed routines and performances use either stockwhips, or recently (over the past year or two) the Performance Hybrid Nylon whips have become popular (which is what Adam is using in this video).

this is fake he is thumping the whips on the ground ... not actually whipping them in the air .... WEAK

@JasonL100 Actually he IS cracking them in the air, and the tips of the whips are breaking the sound barrier. Adam not only currently holds 7 Guinness world records with a whip, has been on the Discovery Channel's show Time Warp as well as others, but is also one of THE best performers and whipcrackers in the USA.
Plus...I'm not really sure that it is possible to make noise that sounds anything like that by hitting them on long soft grass, ;-)

I have been playing with whips for some time, this has inspired me to start learning again...
Can you recommend a place/forum/site which breaks down the individual moves?

@8thsinner Search Adam Winrich on youtube and also look at the user AdamCWM, and he has made videos breaking down some of the individual cracks. Also, an excellent whipcracking tutorial video for getting into two handed whipcracking is Mike Murphy's video "Fundamental Whipcracking Techniques" which I highly recommend. We have also recently posted a couple of videos breaking down the Arrowhead as well as the Hassett's 4 corners. Hopefully we will have some time to make more soon.
