Broccoli, red potatoes ( low-starch variety of potato family ), spinach ( fresh or frozen ) , tomatoes ( canned or fresh ).

Garnish with sauteed onion, bell pepper, and garlic.

Snacks: Bananas, apples, raisins, and prunes.

Drizzle on top with mixed nuts and honey/lemon juice.

Alternate Meal + Snacks

Squash, green beans, sweet peas, and brown rice ( good for healthy cholesterol fighting staple compliment ).

Garnish with dried herbs and fresh peppers.

Carrots, cucumbers and celery variations with garnishing condiments of vinegar and/or tomato based dressings such as French and Catalina dressing.
