Dallas Poetry Grind 2010 Justin David Tate First Round Entry

This is the Dallas Poetry Grind Grand Slam 2010 to see which 5 poets would make the team to compete in poetic battles with seventy other teams at the National Poetry Slam (NPS). I came in at 6th place. There were two rounds. I kicked butt in the first round and was in fourth place in the scores that round. Then I dropped the ball in the sixth round and allowed myself to be beaten. But I'll be ready next time. This is my standout first round that brought me close to victory. ENJOY!
