This is my personal favorite interpretation of "Danse Macabre" composed by Charles-Camille Saint-Saëns who was also famous for "The Carnival of the Animals." Forgive me for this is my first video. Please comment!

  • I feel as though I've heard this in a ballet of some sort! It sounds very Tchaikovsky, like Swan Lake!

  • @sodiumwinter1 well, out does mean dance of the dead...

  • holy crap.

I originally just thought this was a marvelous piece but after the above performance,

    My.God.

    :O

  • I always think of strange and tragic images to go with this music. Goes beautifully with cinema.

  • this is one of the few programmatic pieces that i can actually imagine in my mind clearly

  • I am reading comments by two micro-brains - life is too short, grow up and enjoy the music!

  • @SquareEyes642 Self-entitled? What do I feel I'm entitled to? Your posts have no real point or anything concrete to respond to. Why don't you just give it up? And while you're at it, give up on life altogether.

  • @Supermassively Oh no, see due to your evident lack of understanding of a few simple sentences you have simply failed to grasp my point, I was criticising you for being a self entitled arse, the defense, while entirely justified, was a by-product.

I think language analysis is part of English, maybe you need to go back a few years too?

  • @SquareEyes642 Damn, you've got some issues. Why are you getting so defensive? Who appointed you "Defender of Stupid People"?

  • @Supermassively What soul destroying shortcoming do you have to make you feel the need to walk around and be the self appointed arbiter of intelligence, through, what is, may I add, a terrible way of measuring it. To be frank, nobody cares if grammar isn't perfect on the internet, we aren't writing a book.
