The entire movie was shot by taking about 25,000 photos using a digital SLR still camera and pieced together using Quicktime Pro and Final cut Pro. Since it was shot on a still camera, all the raw footage is 1080p HD.

Also, I would like to send a HUGE thanks to Marlon and Mary of The Ghost Orchid. They provided the song that is used in the movie. They are an unsigned band out of the San Diego area who I came across on MySpace.

  • @dakotaridge Sorry, but I would not like to agree with you ! If someone is so much devoted in a specific artwork like time lapse needs to share his passion together with all those who are in a deep interest with, because he understands that many who are several steps behind him (like me) would like to know the equipment because this assists them progressing faster. If you're not in it, you don't understand how it is to share the "gadget" technical info :-)

  • beautiful artwork, vision-music, thank you

  • dang did you do the panning yourself?

  • Lotta work. Good job.

  • If you haven't watched this,

    you haven't lived.

  • @dakotaridge I care. -about the camera and software.

  • The only reason I came to this page was to see how it was done. Now that I've seen it, I appreciate it for the quality job it is, but the main motivation was educational. Odd that anyone would think that how it was done would be of little interest.

  • I care. It's helpful information. Great video, btw.

  • I care i wanna know how things look before i buy software and learn techniques

  • @dakotaridge I care. . . photographers care.
