@pzburviantard No, Sonic was planned after a poll. Capcom thought Nintendo was supposed to ask THEM, when it works the other way around. Thats why he wasn't in brawl.

Well that's kinda my point. They'll never ask to put him in there because they don't need the publicity (atleast ot right now). Whether or not they believe that Nintendo should ask them, well I'm just not sure that's a fact.

It IS being pompous when you are telling the owner of a franchise that they need to ASK if Megaman is to be put in. Nintendo can very well make it's SSB's without the blue bomber, and has up till now. Capcom should be the ones asking Ninty to include Megaman. Neither side has anything to lose. Nintendo in this case, is correct. whether or not Capcom sells good games or not is irrelevant. To say that they should ASK to include Megaman? No. the 3rd party needs to be the one to request.
