I was looking for the Final boss theme for this game, but it seems he doesn't have a song. xD

@ISerathI Yes, a lot of people call CC the "spiritual" successor to CT for various reasons; but this IS the canon sequel to CT. Before this, Square made a text based game called Radical Dreamers for the Super Famicom Satellaview add-on only in Japan. Originally it was the sequel to CT; but when CC was released, it was deemed the true sequel and RD was referenced as an alternate dimension in CC, erasing it from the canon storyline.

Is this a sequel to Chrono Trigger?

@And8But Not as easy as it looks at least on first play through cuz of the tendency not to really be looking for/paying attention to the clues as to what order to use the elements in (although it's pretty blatantly obvious upon looking back). Also, I don't know why it didn't in this instance; but it usually makes it harder by forcing you to force it to cast the first element by you casting the opposite and how he had time to do several attacks before using the CC, I have no clue.

I gained an unhealthy attraction to planets after this game...
On a more serious note, while the battle itself isn't very exciting, the finishing sequence of it is one of the most amazing things I've seen in a JRPG. The silence suddenly breaking with those notes ringing out is a wonderful contrast and is great at moving your heart.
@MaverickZeroD
wow finally someone who thinks the same as me.... respect to FF7 for being a good game but in my opinion the story and gameplay of Chrono Cross was a lot better
