He didnt write JP3 either, that\s why it was pretty crappy compared to the first 2. Also it wasnt directed by Steven Spielberg directly.

I know from what I've read from various sources that there will be a JP4. It is said that it may be the beginning of a new trilogy, something that will be different from the previous three jurassic park films due to the death of Michael Crichton, the author of the novels. However we will have to wait for a couple more years before it will be in cinemas, at least until 2013.
