Of all the truly beautiful songs Miss M has done, over all these years . . . this is the most beautiful.
Not because it speaks of God, or at least, not just because it speaks of God.
To me, the true beauty of this song lies in its reaching for the hope and beauty that so many of us see as an almost unattainable goal.
It's a goal we see most clearly when it is farthest away.
Maybe someday our eyes will sharpen enough to see that goal clearly when it is right in front of us.
