Nocturnal Love (A Poem by Pure/Derrick)

I had a dream a few weeks ago; and the funny thing is, the dream made me feel like in was in the "Day & Nite" music video by Kid Cudi. I dreamt I was with that special girl, and during the night, we went out and did a lot of crazy things, and we both had a great time. I remember everything I saw from the music blasting from downtown, to the stars shining during that dark night. Call me crazy, call me a dreamer. Truth be told, I'm a hopeless romantic, so let's get that straight, lol. Anywho, here's the poem I wrote, from which that dream inspired me to write. Enjoy! ^_^

~Nocturnal Love~
The sun falls, the night shades, as the sky is no longer blue...
The wind blows as the stars spread, and all I can think about is you
You had school & I had work, we were both busy during the day...
but now we're free to go on the street, and in the night, you & I shall play...
We can hit a club, maybe grab a drink, and dance all night til the sky turns blue
or we can stay in & make like owls, as I make your body moan whoo-hoo
We can crash a party or shoot some pool, it doesn't matter what we do...
We can go for a walk, hand in hand, as the moon glows for just us 2
I'll take you out to eat, take you to a show, and we can cuddle along the grass
and even though the hours pass, my love for you will forever last
We'll go for a ride, then take pics of all the places that we've seen
the way we laugh throughout the night, makes every night feel like Halloween
There were no costumes, but we were always full of tricks
the way we side-kicked each other's asses, as the morning light began to flick
I walked you to your door, you kissed me before when
I walked away and wondered when we'll get to play again
