@dash94 yeah thats what they say 4x the processing power but thats not the case, and the xbox's cpu is a pentium III based cpu.

Bleem! (peace upon them) were able to fully emulate some PSOne like like Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Solid with smoother animation and high resolution rendering. N64 games might be easy to fully emulate on Dreamcast with skilled programmers.

Pretty impressive, considering that the Dreamcast and N64 were basically contemporaries, and that the DC wasn't even a full generation leap ahead. I guess having... what, four times the RAM? helps a lot, though. (But we can probably write off emulating any games that were designed for 8 MB of RAM, like Perfect Dark or LoZ: Majora's Mask.)

There is not enough RAM on Dreamcast to put whole N64 -game in.
Dreamcast does not have hardrive.
N64 games work on N64 because because N64 reads only part of the game once.

get us ocarina of time!!!

I bet they can have this running full speed if they spent MORE TIME MAKING IT!

Assuming that there wasn't much time invested into optimizing the code AND the code base (Daedalus for PC) is much worse than today's Project 64, if someone would port and optimize Project 64... Hmmm...

@GlitchySoftware So what you're saying is that people on here blame the Dreamcast for not being a N64?!
XD

You probably havn't even played Little Big Planet and Sonic, and just because it doesn't have guns in it doesn't mean its a bad game.
Why did you think I referred to you as a closed minded and idiotic kid in the first place?
Why there is to many assholes saying shit on the coments?
The speed sucks, but that's not the point, the point is that it's running on a dreamcast, that's the fact, If you want to play the shit download pj64.
