Which one is bad?

@1fishy : lol

Perfect, probably explains the horrible noise near my water pump. Thanks.

@dmdjm Could be the thermostat too. I would replace it and the waterpump and also the timing belt. Flush system and replace hoses if needed.

Lol oh man, mine was worse. In fact I drove my ST162 down my street and she just died. Turns out the water pump's belt gear cracked in pieces and seized itself. :/ All's well now. Although a 4WD and 3SGTE conversion would be nice

@dmdjm depends if its on youre V blet or youre distribution belt. if its on your distribution and it gets stuck it willl ruin your engine;) but if its not 100% just fix it it will help to cool youre car better preventing damage

hello guys! what would happen if my car has a faulty waterpump, aside from the noise it produces? because i have a feeling that my waterpump is faulty, because my engine easily get hotter than its usual, though temp gauge still at normal. eventhough i drove it for only 2km, i could barely touch the engine, because it'll become very very hot. thank u 4d reply! God bless!

changed belt belt/idler pulley because i was hearing loud noise & screcching upon startups, then it would subside. Now, no screech/bit tone down in loudness. wondering once the belt is off, if my ac compressor pulley spins with that sound as your bad waterpump then it could be part/the noise issue. my junkyard pulled compressor has no sound when i spin the pulley as it sits on a table. Could it just be that simple of a test 2? I'll check 4 leaks/refill
What engine is that out of? Looks like a 3vz-fe.
