QUESTION - Should I take a protein shake during breakfast THEN after I work out? And only if I do strength training and NOT cardio??

Hi! Whey protein (normally used in protein shakes) has been shown to be the most fast acting protein source therefore making it ideal first thing in the morning when your muscles are hungry after a fasting state and right after a work out when nutrition within 45 minutes is critical to recovery. Shakes are convenient and effective, esp. after a workout. For breakfast, a shake is easy to digest, but it's personal preference too. Aim for a complex, carb, protein, and/or healthy fat.
