Oh no...clapping is awesome. :] It's the yelling and screaming that gets to me. And screaming is okay too at the right moments. But I was recently at a J-rock concert in SF and during the band's acapella, this guy standing next to me was yelling "F-ING AWESOME!" the whole time. I couldn't hear the singer at all and it sucked.
