I did not grow up in the truth nor do I have family in the truth. I deeply appreciate the truth for so many reasons.. I came from a worldly life with no real hope for the future, in fact I hated the world for what it is an where it's going. I was able to see the world heading to destruction without the truth. I would like to say why would you want to go back to a rotten world with no hope but everlasting death period. You brought out a very good question that would

@preenification I actually prefer the lyrics of the song now; when singing it from the old songbook I enjoyed the tune but actually didn't understand all of the words. Sometimes when the song goes through my head, I find the lyrics from the old songbook and the new songbook combining together.

What a comfort it is to have these songs available to listen and sing. I am studying and love to listen to the kingdom melodies. This song just reminds me of what I need to continue to do. Thank you!
