This is a video concert extra from the rare film,"Genghis Blues" starring the late Paul Pena.He performs using the unique Tuva throat singing method in which two vocal cords are used at the same time producing a frog-like sound heard only in certain parts of the world..Paul Pena also wrote the song,"Jet Airliner" made famous by rocker,Steve Miller in the mid 70's.This is a very rare performance..

  • I happened to see Ghengis Blues on PBS, when it first came out. Found it to be untouchable...... the Power that Mr.Pena brought to this film was awesomely touching.

    Was terrible to hear of his passing, years ago, yet he lives on !!! RIP Paul, take a ride on the ....

  • @18hmoobclans This song's name is "Eki Attar" in Tuvan dialect, in Turkey Turkish "İyi Atlar" (in Royal English "Good Horses, hehe). Tuvans are Turkic people, not Mongol.
