It's Laos, pronounced 'Lao' like the people, not 'Louse'.
'Laos' is a French term meaning 'all the Lao people'. Last time I looked the French don't generally pronounce 's' at the end of a word.
Geddit?
Anyway. Get some Lao Hai down yer necks. Or does LP still tell you unwashed backpackers that you must heed their oh so insightful advice?
