  • the drivetrain sounds fucked, somethings grinding?

  • @levrone007

it is loud because a tooth is broken on the Mod 1 gear of 52 teeth. I was doing numerous quick full throttles, the first time I did it from a stand still the car jumped straight up into the air and landed on it's side. I have upgraded to a higher grade gear and put thread lockon the screws to insure proper gear mesh. it has been holding up.

    I

watts, I asked Castle if this motor can handle this lipo, and they said it should be fine with my setup and driving.

  • @4Rracing anyway thats a real good setup, ive always got ++ respect for custom work, i found your page cos was researching to build a 1/5th brushless but im just gonna hold on to see what the xo1 is like, i really wanted a 100mph 1/5th but i think the brushless are just not quite there yet for this size, anyways take care mate

  • Try as you may you won't find that stated by Castle for that motor. People often make mistakes and I can accept that.

  • @ecoovert I read somewhere that the Savage Flux motor was 6hp? Hmmm, must be wrong! Do you know what it puts out?

  • I could be wrong but I think that's closer to 3.35 horse power at 2500 watts. The 4082 motor in my 1/12th scale Miss Geico boat is rated at 3500 watts and only produces 4.69 horse power. It takes 745.7 watts to produce 1 horse power according to the vast majority of formulas used for rc. That seems to be the standard. That is an impressivespeed for a 1/5th scale car though. What's the kv rating of your motor and who makes it?

  • nIce

  • Sensorless motor?

  • Whats with the motor mesh? Or is it an uncensored motor?

  • hey do you know steave . I made one of for him. I also did one for my self and went over 84 mph @ the fontana speed way. ISC
