Mars & The Orbiters - Ode To Thee Of Hohenheim

This is a promotional video for the new CD of the Munich based band "Mars & The Orbiters". The song "Ode To Thee Of Hohenheim" is one of the album's great rockers. Like all the other tracks as well, this song is about the extraordinary doctor, most famous scientist and scholarly of all times: „Theophrastus Bombastus von Hohenheim", better known as Paracelsus. Straight Rock'n'Roll music and sophisticated lyrics form a very rare and interesting union. The production was completely done at Sky Studios/Taufkirchen, engineered by Bobby Altvater.


Die Band hat die Lebensgeschichte und Teile der Naturphilosophie des Arztes und Alchemisten Theophrastus Bombastus von Hohenheim, besser bekannt als Paracelsus, vertont und dazu eine Art Theaterstück geschrieben. Titel: Paracelsus -- Tabula Smaragdina (Ein alchemistisches Rock'n'Roll-Metaphysical). Das Ziel ist, mit dem Projekt, in dessen Mittelpunkt die Heilphilosophie des Paracelsus steht, im Rahmen einer Tournee (Spirit of Spagyrik) an exakt jenen Orten aufzutreten, an denen der Hohenheimer nachhaltig gewirkt hat.
