Tam Lyn - The Bird in The Bush

Tam Lyn are a Dorset based folk rock trio. This is a traditional English song called The Bird in the Bush. Many folk artists have done different versions of this song, and this our version, collecting from several different sources. This video was filmed before we were joined by our latest band member.

Me and the Lord Bullock did a version of this one too! I must confess however that I much prefer this version - did you make the tune up ye'selves??

No. The tune is a traditional version that I learnt from a recording of John Tams singing it. He does it a capella, and with lots of reverb on it, it sounds really haunting.

I doubt, however, the Lord Bullock would care to see where your preferences lie. You might get a visit from Mr Minder...
