Sutafi = STARFY. Not Stafy.

This is what irks me the friggin' most. Grrrr. D:

So people, it's STARFY. That is also what it's called in Japan, but Japanese pronunciation is different; when they say Starfy, it sounds like Sutafi (and it is written in katakana which translates English words to how it would be pronounced in the Japanese language).

Why do you have to say it like the Japanese? = 0=; You're saying Starfy with a Japanese accent, and in my opinion it doesn't sound much different. Sutafi = Starfy, and it kind of makes you seem/look stupid. -coughs- Just call it Starfy!

And if you're calling it, "Staff-y" Well, I just don't know what to say to you. That's completely stupid. Starfy, afterall is a STARFISH. STARFY makes a lot of sense, don't you think? :|

1. スタフィー sutafī (SU-TAH-FI) = Starfy. Ok? It's written in Katakana to prove it's a translation of "Starfy"

2. Stafy is actually supposed to be "Starfy", but a translation error caused all references to him in Brawl to be missing the "r". Because of this, many people mistakenly think that the series he hails from is called "Densetsu no Stafy", when it is actually called "Densetsu no Starfy".

The narrator clearly says, "Sutafi" (@ 0:26) but he also has rather good pronunciation so it sounds more like "Starfy"

Starfy is not actually a starfish, but it make a lot of sense because he is shaped like a star. I love the Starfy games! And I love his adorable little sister, Starly! She's so cute!

@zaviergonzo if ur just going by the pronunciation, then he's starfy. Japan has a slight accent on things, like kirby is a mix between kaby and karby. if that's how they got the name stafy, then he's really just starfy.
