FORCE CONTINUUM PHILOSOPHY: How the Tactical Knife Fits In

A little bit of philosophy on how your tactical knife option fits into defensive purposes. I do have some experience in these but I'm not the end all expert. However it's important to recognize the advantages and limitations of each option in a life or death struggle with the bad guy (s).

I always carry non lethal options: tactical flashlight and pepper spray. 95% of the time I also have a folding knife and Glock 9 mm. I have had to use the non-lethal options several times over the years, everyone should carry them. Great video!

@p8ntballer8491 i really do agree u should listen to the crap that antigun liberal come out with stupid shit like "runing away and using ur cell phone is ur best weapon in AS event" truthfully F that crap lets be realistic yes calling the police is a must but when shit hits the fan ur going to wish u had a gun or at least a way of keeping that AS from attacking u or preventing ur escape. am not advocating u trying to act like a hero or a cop but sometimes thats the only way to survive

As for lethal option, a gun is the best way to go. Don't think you need a knife if you alread have a gun. If I am afraid the gun fails , I might get a back up and carrie on my ankle. But don't get me wrong, I love knives and carry then all the time, but don't think they are really necessary. A multi tool is best.

Man, the best non lethal defense device I found so far is an asp baton integrated with pepper spray on the base. That thing is amazing. You can use the pepper spray to blond the bad guy and, if that does not work, you can use the baton on the legs. After that, run away and call the cops.

@megadeth628 There is no blade limit for knives in Canada, that is just a myth. However that`s not to say a larger knife will not turn heads easier than a smaller one.

And the tactical knife is something that you can carry in areas were there is no concealed carry or if you are under the age of 21!

@IvanKesja I live in canada and you can legally carry a knife concealed, but there is a limit of 6 inchs for blade length. Unforunatey thats where our force contiuum ends. No concealed carry.

@andimaen running, negotiating, reasoning. i think nutnfancy is hoping that his audience will have A) tried these things, or B) determined that they wont work, before they decide to use the options he's highlighting in this video. we should all already be familiar with the "don't kill/hurt if you don't have to" concept.
