  • Totally fine to use bat against the shoulder. If you use proper mechanics it will come off when it needs to!

  • @jvan100 good question!

  • Is it ok to use this "bat against the shoulder" technique during live game play or is it only recommended for training purposes?

  • what is the name of the pitching machine?

  • @themetsfan861 weight is never shifted to an unbalance. go ahead and try to hit off your back leg or front. its like a punch, must be balanced.

  • Hold on!!!

Level swing; Is only effective with pitch in level swing zone!!! First determine an individuals level swing zone.. for example, a thrown "Strike pitch" at knees for a 6'2" batter must be "golfed" for outfield pop, or the 6'2" batter must "squat"(small strike zone) for infield hit. squatting will give the batter a smaller zone for a level swing! There is more to it than that, and i'm not talking about stepping and shifting. in most cases, Rotation should be automatic.

  • Happen to have an example of this swing at a ball around the knees?
