@tinnitischannel Nope, Mutant Cows wasn't influenced by anything really, except maybe cows. We wrote a lot of songs about cows just because they weren't getting their fair representation in songs in those days. Also songs about a whale and an armadillo...

Whoo Hooo, we (The Dyzmals) are honored to be the closing track of such a prestigious collection! We actually recorded "Mutant Cows" in 1985, not 1989, but hey, if it gets us in the company of those other crazies of the 80s, we'll take it!

@billhare Soo mint that I got a reply from one of the Dyzmals! Thanks for correcting the year "Mutant Cows" was recorded. The "1989" came from a source that said it was the year appeared on Dr. Demento's Basement Tapes volume 1. Curiously, I have the CD and I don't see a (c) date on it. MSG me anytime.

@billhare Hey, another thing... you recorded MUTANT COWS in 1985. I always thought it was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles spoofery. And though the comics were around then, the TV show debuted in Sept 1987. Since you sang, "I watch Mutant Cows!" I thought it was inspired by the TMNT TV series.
