In sugar art, the sugarpaste flowers are dusted with edible colored dusts, not watercolours! Every single sugar artist who knows what they're doing blows the excess dust off so it won't fall off on the cake and ruin it! And PLEASE... do you really think professionals of this caliber would be spitting on their cakes or doing anything else "thoughtless"???
