Norahs First Cochlear Implant Activation CI

The incredible Miss Norah was born profoundly deaf, and lived that way for years before having any kind of hearing aid. But even after she got her hearing aids in China, and then new ones when we adopted her in march 2009 they still would not give Norah the level of sound needed to form speech, so we decide to have her cochlear implanted try to give her a chance to hear the world she lives in better and hopefully with a lot of work learn to speak. Because she is already four years old it will not be easy for her to learn to speak but we as a family will do our best to help her along.
