  • cant wait till october to run this line on the speeder.

  • Have you ridden this line before? I'll be there. It is, in my opinion, the most photographic line in New Jersey, especially on the westbound run on Saturday. I'll be on flagging and crossing protection duty Saturday, and riding on Sunday.

  • my wife and i will both be there for this. the last time i went was in 2001.where in riverdale are they setting the cars on?when i was there last we set on in butler yard.

  • The set-on point should be on the Pompton Industrial branch near the old Bulkmatic bulk transfer satellite yard. The location is Hamburg Turnpike, between Newark Pompton Turnpike and Post Lane.

  • 2 more weeks to go!!!

  • Hey, did you make it for the Narcoa trips last weekend? I was hoping to get to meet you but didn't really know where to look. On Saturday, I flagged crossings and Sunday I rode in the lead car #1205 with the operator and pilot, Steve Weiss. Which car did you have?

  • The driver of the SUV at the start of the video needs a hard punch to the head.

  • Huh, why did the signal come on, didn't we have flaggers for that?

  • Is there some websites or clubs near Pompton Lakes, NJ where I'd be able to find more information about these runs, like where to buy a speeder or where to find parts or kits to build my own? I love trains as it is, and being able to ride the rails around here would be so much fun!!! If anyone has any information for me, reply to my comment or send me a PM, please!!!

  • The rear car was pushing that car not towing. It had to be pushed up to the car ahead so it could be towed.

  • i was there too,was a great ride as always.i hope to be there again this june for the next run.

  • It *is* awesome fun. I rode with them last fall. Did flagging because they didn't have permission to lower the gates (it's just a switch inside the railcar). Oh, oops, I see that somebody had to be towed.

  • i had the blue fairmont m9-c was lettered

  • that awsome looks fun while passing by wave at auto cars truck sitting watch speeders going by with smile funny faces
