Warning: That's not a right form to do the deadlift.To much pressure and high risk of damage at the lumbar region.I am a self-destructive freak and i can lift as i want.That form fits perfect to me and i hadn't any injury since now,and of course i won't.But that doesn't mean i am right.So try a better form if you want.

So that was the 8th week of the deadlift-routine:

15x60kg,2x100kg,1x150kg,1x200kg(warm-up sets)
2x237,5kg - 3x3 175kg (2min rest between sets)
barbel-shrugs:2x8 187,5kg
stiff-leg deadlifts on the box: 2x8- 140kg (2min rest)
bent-over rows: 1x8-120kg,1x8-130kg
underhand lat pulldowns: 2x8 all the weights of the machine
goodmornings: 2x8 100kg

standing leg-curl: 1x12, 1x8, 1x6 (don't know the weights..)

20' walking on the treadmill

Diet: 50%protein-30%fats-20%carbs

  • watched it again. When the day comes and you are about to do 250kg. Attack the bar with everything you have got in the first attempt, get really angry, because you will have only one attempt at that weight. If you do not get it you will need to rest for 14 days before you should try again, that taxing it is on the body. Norwegian national team always have last heavy deadlift 21 days before competition. When finished with the program before maxing, have rather more than less rest.

  • Not much time for me to rest..because i'll join the military so i have to go exactly by the training plan.Lifts will be done. No anger or aggression..that helps me when i bench.Deadlift is sth different..Good focus for me is when i isolate my self from the enviroment.."travel" (imaginary)at a total white room where it's just me and the bar..and visualizing the lift.250kg will be lifted in 2 weeks and then go for a PR.

  • You should check into lamar gant, he is one of the biggest freaks in deadlifting history! Google "lamar gant". He lifted with a bent back. You could also look into Konstantinovs and check his technique, perhaps it would be good for you. Apart from this, you double more than I can single. Excellent stuff. I hope you will get your 250kg lift soon! :D

  • Thanks a lot Per! I feel strong and confident at the time! I know both of the deadlifters!!Love them! But lately i am amazed from Mike Tuchscherer..incredible power and techique at such a young age. O.O!

    Checking my schedule..250kg deadlift is in 2 weeks from now..I will be there..
