@russianskatingfan I agree with you. He isn't nearly as strong as she is. But I think most can agree that they were stronger than the Ukrainians, Czechs, Germans, and Canadians. I even thought they were stronger than Krylova & Federov. When it comes to the French and Finnish teams though, you get into a lot of ifs and buts. Either way, I still quite liked this team (or at least certain aspects of their skating).

@gk891 I find their is too much 2 foot skating though and it is painfully evident he isnt nearly as strong a skater as she is. None of her partners were really, even Kostomarov. I do agree they should have placed higher than 11th in this field though. They were way better than the Czechs, the Ukranians, and probably some of the others.

Thank you for posting this. I've always wanted to see their Olympic performance of this FD. It's disappointing that they finished outside of the top 10 here. I had them at the very lowest 6th but potentially even higher. Dubova's trademarks are stamped all over this team (beautiful edges, handholds, posture, line, and they cover the ice so effortlessly).
