  • Why do these a-holes wear wigs???

Don't they realize that it makes them look like douchebags???

  • Meryl Streep - Queen of Accents

  • As an Aussie, Meryl pretty much nailed the accent. She even got the kiwi overtones down pat which was part of her role as lindy chamberlain. genius.

  • She sounded more like a New Zealander than an Aussie.....she did a pretty good job of it none the less, considering her actual accent......

A controversial movie about an actual event when a baby went missing nere Ayres Rock in the outback. The mother,Lindy Chamberlin, claimed it was taken by a dingo (wild dog), she was later tried for the baby's murder and sent to prison. She was later released after further evidence was found that tied it to the dingo story.

  • A fantastic New Zealand accent!

  • Yaw tawking about moy baby dawta....not some objict!

  • It's true, Meryl's is better than Amy Walker from the '21 Accents' video at doing an Australian accent. Just about as close to 'nailing it' as I've seen any non-Australian do it. So close.

  • @3starbadman yep.....even flatter than that...dead flat.

  • @Boltneck77 yeah? THE flattest? what about the Caribbean accents?

  • @Cabess12 Yeh she did an alright job with it....but her accent is leaning more towards a kiwi accent not an aussie accent... She's pronouncing her "e"s as "I"s. But still, not too bad for an American because Americans have trouble getting thier vowels flat enough. Americans hook all thier vowels, whereas ours are dead flat. In fact, they're the flattest out of any english language.
