Drizzt is an amazing character. He reels u in, makes u love him, makes u wish he was real. Characters like him only come around once in a life time. God bless Salvatore.

They also find a place to call home with the help of their future lovers(Kenshin met Kaoru, Drizzt met Cattie-Brie, though Bruenor had a hand in that one), and they both gain friends whose physical strength exeeds their own(Kenshin has Sano, Drizzt has Wulfgar). They also gave bitter rivals who oppose their ideals and are considered dark reflection of themselves(Kenshin's rival is Saito Hajime, and Drizzt's rival is Artemis Entreri).
These similarities are interesting, and almost scary.
