Moot: Is God a Delusion? Bill Cooke, Senior Lecturer, Manukau Institute of Technology and William Lane Craig, Research Professor of Philosophy at Talbot School of Theology in La Mirada
@AgeOfReasonXXI I think what he means, what is stated in the bible, GOD is moral......therefor he has no moral obligations. All good comes from god.......he does not cheat nor lie......HE IS.....it is his nature....
What I always find funny about these debates is many of the question raised by atheists today was indeed first raised and solved by Christians theologians a long time ago...
@Domzdream i personally haven't worshipped the sun. The trinity of God makes perfect sense. Just like the many teachings within martial arts of humanity. The mind, body & spirit are all unique aspects that each define the person individually but co-exist simultaneously with each other to define the person as well.
I have to stress that only SOME of the denominations hold that Jesus is God...others (such as myself) believe that Jesus is the SON of God, hence the offspring but still the messiah.
Well you do believe that there are three parts of the one god- the father the son and the holy spirit. So there you go. This makes absolutely no sense at all. How anything be its own father and son at the same time, neverminding the holy spirit whatever that is, probably the mommy since we have to justify the third party being the son.
Its illogical.
So if he is a son, then he has a beginning. That's what sons are.
You faith stems from worshipping the sun god. I can send you a link.

Gaunilo's argument was an attempt to refute Anslems ontological proof of the existence of a 'god'. It solved nothing -
All it proves is that from completely logical discrete steps completely irrelevant gibberish can be created. That is the nature of language.
