Your rhythm is OK. I have some suggestions. Not bad. However, for the left hand, alternate with this fingering (on A):
Octave - 2 - 1 - 2 - Octave - 2- 1 - 2
That will greatly improve your response when playing at faster tempos. The "Happy Passengers" melody should also be played with no pedal.
I hope you keep up the practice and release a video played at tempo, but 105 would still be appropriate. 112 is very demanding. :)

Does anyone notice that here, on YT, there are LOADS of slobbery Chopin's waltz recordings, disgusting Moonlight sonata performances, dirty Rachmaninov badly trained etudes, but... you will NEVER find an underestimated, little-understood or just fuzzy and technique-blurred Alkan's work?
Users who upload all of his works here are so conscious, serious, with a great feeling of music and a dab of dementation! It's high pleasure to listen to them!

I have been playing this etude for about 4 months now. My names alan too ! haha. Anyways, try to get that 1-2-1-2 at the slow speed otherwise you wont have a chance at a fast speed. I think im playing this at about 96-104 area right now.
