This is a video tribute to one of the most beautiful Latin Divas of all time, Marquita Rivera who was the first actress from Puerto Rico to appear in a major Hollywood motion picture "Road to Rio" with Bob Hope and Bing Crosby. Marquita Rivera was honored with the key to her homeland and given a parade in her honor upon her return from Hollywood.
Marquita Rivera also worked in Mexico in films with Fernando Soler, David Silva and Antonio Aguilar.

Es una verguenza que en el Puerto Rico de hoy no se sepa quien fue Marquita Rivera y sin embargo cualquier monigote(a) que aparece en una "pelicula" lo(a) tildan de superestrella.
Ni hablar de Juano Hernandez,quien en una epoca de un racismo extremo,fue protagonista en Hollywood,y cuando vino a su patria el discrimen lo obligo a regresar a Estados Unidos.
