Tonight on Eyewitness News it was Scott Clark's final broadcast on WABC-TV. Scott Clark had been with the station for nearly 25 years and tonight he retires voluntarilly to spend more time with his family. He will truly be missed and he was a legendary sports anchor for WABC-TV. I was a huge fan. Tomorrow Rob Powers will take over Scott's Place. As this was recorded copyright definitely goes to WABC-TV and ABC Television. As Copyright issues have been on the rise here on YouTube, this video may or may not be up for long. I have included a watermark on the right hand side of the screen for all intents and purposes. There was another cool segment I wanted to include that featured Lee Goldberg's Accu-Weather 5 Day forcast for Scott which featured 77 degrees everyday, lol. I guess someone will upload it here sooner or later considering how popular Channel 7 is, haha.

  • Hope your enjoying your retirement , family and life in general . God bless and good luck buddy . We miss you !

  • @ Slapshot... He was the only one to wear an Official badge pin given to him in 2001! I think it's a detective badge pin, but I'm not sure... But he had it on every single night!

  • It's August now, and it's still here. Testament to Scott's many friends everywhere, and to ABC of course.

  • I met him once at Shea Stadium years back. He was a nice guy. Didn't realize how HUGE he was.

  • I had no clue he retired...enjoyed his sportscasts on WABC when I lived in NYC in 2004-05. Wishing him the best of luck...
