@AmericanRaven19 I hang them upsidedown by the feet. Hanging them upside down makes the blood rush to their head and they get all mellow so they aren't flailing around. Plus, i think it distracts them because they are baffled by the world being upside down so they just look around with silly chicken eyes like they are high or something. Then I cut their throats with a scalpel and they bleed out.
@ATPman1 No, bruising only happens while alive. The little rubber fingers are soft and don't tear up the birds unless you over scald them. Figuring out the right temperature and right about of time to scald them is the tricky part. We found that 140 degrees for one minute works.
how do you kill them first? just smack them on something?
