However, you ought to not approach things like an occasional (or a usual) depressive would !
Only then will you get to the "compromises" that make YOU happy, in life.
I sorta hated the ending too, but.. when we invest in our well-being(s) --> things become clear & we prosper.
Trust me --> sadness, sorrow, & etc, ARE just temporary illusions. There's a lotta happiness & rewards waiting after we turn difficult corners.

I hate the ending, the could have been together no matter what.

it wouldnt have work, the maturity of both are very different. and see that i say MATURITY not AGE.. the reason was that she was ready to make that big step in life and he was just begining to walk.. bottom line is enjoy what you have and try to skeeze as much juice as you can from it. so when it is all gone you can take the good and learn from the bad. and give thanks that you were lucky enough to bump into that soul...
