When I was 16, my older brother tells me that a guy he works with tells him that Johnny Winter is playing over at the Holiday Star theater about 1 1/2 hours away, and that if I have never seen him, I should. So he tells me he'll pick me up after work. So my brother picks me up and we hit the road, and he's telling me about Johnny and the blues and Edgar, and we finally get there, park the car and go to the ticket box and find out That it's Johnny Rivers, not Johnny Winter.

Johnny Winter and Frank Marino are two of the absolute best and most underrated guitar players off all time. IMO even better than Hendrix !!
