Michelle Wie played the sectional qualifier at Canoe Brook C.C., N.J. on Monday 5th of June 2006. She asked for a ruling on casual water at the 15th hole. It was denied, after which she hit a blistering five wood on the green.
Plus as a bonus her chip-in on 18.

yes she isnt doing great right now...but she is still a PHENOMENON...I mean she was playing professionally at age 16 and you are saying she hasnt accomplished anything? She had to be able to do something great to be able to accomplish that huh?

Of course she's deserving. Have you seen the other ladies on tour? Most look plain and most don't hit the ball as far. Wie has real talent....she just has a hard time putting it together at times.

The real question that everyone should be asking, rather than claiming that she's got real talent and is great and all that, is whether she is any more ***DESERVING*** than anyone else on the Ladies pro tour. But, having said that, it's obvious that's not how the dynamics of this world works. It's about politics.
