Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) appeared on the Ed Show on MSNBC last night to discuss how Congress can address gun violence.

"It only takes us to make up our minds that change is gonna have to happen now. This is such a horrific incident; such a tragic incident--not even children, 20 kids are safe in their classroom--that it must stir the heart of the nation," Ellison said.

Guns do't kill people. Bullets kill people. Don't ban guns, just make bullets, magazines, rounds, and clips very expensive. Problem solve.

All those guns were registered to his mother not the child. So none of what the representative said would of stopped those killings. Maybe not as many people would of died, but many people would of died.

That argument has been played out way too much. If certain people don't have access to guns that are meant to kill large amounts of people, then obviously less mass shooting would happen. We need to have a sensible discussion on this gun culture in America.

Guns don't kill. PEOPLE kill. If they want to kill, not having a gun won't stop them.
