i think people here dont ever see the good fighters in america...... just like everything else everyone always points out the negatives..... when ur country needs help whos helping you... usa......... i admitt most american muay thai fighters arent that good but you have to remember muay thai has just gotten big within the last 5 years at most.... these guys have been training since they were 8 at least yod has.... give it time and america will be up there in muay thai.....

K-1 fighters don't pay that much attention to the clinch because under K-1 rules it is useless. I am of Japanese origin, I will freely admit that the rules of K-1 are "fixed" to favour Japanese fighters (Sato,Musashi,Masato). After Buakaw raped the K-1 Max division with his ruthless knees in the clinch they changed the rule to:

ONE KNEE STRIKE WHILE CLINCHED..... To give the Japanese fighters a chance.

i think...i'm the luckiest one because i have had photo shot with both naruepol and yodseanklai at the international muay thai super fight at malaysia....standing next to the champ....isn't that lucky???????????

Yea... Europe, Thais, and Aussies > American Thai fighters.....

Americans aren't as fit as the Thais, Aussies, and Euros.... Americans are somewhat of sissies.... I train in America, and it's not as good as the other three places mentioned...

But with some new stuff that is going to be happening here within the next month (WMC) there is going to be a improvement on Muay Thai in the US.
