The 69 Eyes in Lausanne 22/02/09

An awesome night. Front row, boys and girls. Got to meet Jyrki after the show with some friends. He autographed the drumstick we caught. The pictures I took will be uploaded on my dA gallery (http://aicenar.deviantart.com), so keep an eye out. Should get the pictures cleaned up and uploaded tomorrow night, sooner if the network at university stops being a bitch.

Thank you for sharing this... especially on behalf of a dear friend of mine in Geneva, Switzerland, a great fan, who had a ticket to see them in Lausanne but at the last minute fell sick and with bad weather conditions couldn't attend (to make a long story short). I'm sure you have helped cheer her up. Thanks again!

I totally agree with you... Those people had no class whatsoever... I certainly was embarassed, and ashamed... Glad to be able to vent it here, I also answered one of the negative critics on the net. That's probably why 69 Eyes didn't return to Canada, not to Quebec City at any rate.

How embarassing. Those ppl should be very embarassed they showed disrespect for any band. I'd never do that no matter how much I didn`t care for the bannd. It just shows some ppl lack class. Hope maybe they take the risk and come back. I`ve introduced them to others so a fanbase is starting ...

They were in Canada, Quebec City to be exact, a couple of years ago, with two other heavy metal groups... 69 Eyes seemed like soft rock in comparison. They had great energy I thought but were BOOED by the audience who had come to see the other groups... and they received negative reviews... I was FURIOUS!!!!!
