The ad shows Live Photo Gallery (LPG). Sort of like the Photo Gallery in Vista, BUT has a couple of other extra features AND works on XP as well.
And I got a copy of Vista for about $230. Essentially less than an iPod.

Hmm. Let me think - Uh, I think that's a bad idea. Why? Because:
a) How are you sure that the copy you get doesn't come with a hidden form of spyware or who knows what?
b) Windows Updates (which are pretty important ) uses the WGA tool to confirm if your copy is real. If it isn't, then you get reduced functions.
c) This is America. Or at least this video implies this is America we're talking about.

Boy... downloaded/cracked/"priceless" Vista is not better than buyed Vista. Its bit for bit the same crap.

Hey folks, remember: Dont sharing your live in or over the insecure Net.
Steveboy thanks for Vista, the many new sharing possibilities and for Dual_EC_DRBG -> NO WAY.

You don't need Windows Vista to use Windows Live

Yeah, but this is free. AND it uploads to Flickr. Plus it actually works pretty nice.
iPhoto comes with the iLife suite which you have to buy.
